What We Do
The Ski Sharks will perform every Wednesday starting June 5th and ending August 14th. Pre-show 5:30 pm, show at 6:00 pm. Shows are always free to the public, however donations are greatly appreciated!
All shows take place on the shores of the gorgeous Wolf River on the west side of Shawano, WI at Smalley Park. Click here for directions. Concessions are offered on-site at every show (cash only!). Bottled water, soda, sports drinks, burgers, brats, and popcorn are all for sale. Raffle tickets are available at each show. The sale of these tickets helps support the Team and gives you a chance to win great prizes. Bleacher seating is available! Many people also bring lawn chairs or blankets for the best viewing experience.
Wisconsin State Tournament - The four-day championships will be held July 18th thru the 21st on Lake Wazeecha at Red Sand Beach at South Wood County Park near Wisconsin Rapids. Hosted by the Wisconsin Rapids Aqua Skiers, the championship is the largest ski show tournament in the world, with 28 teams being judged to find the best of the best. Ski Sharks are a Division II team and will ski on Friday afternoon, July 19th. The tournament is free for spectators. Come and check out some of the best waterski action in the world right here in Wisconsin.
We feel it is part of our responsibility as the local ski team supported by our community to give back some of our resources and time each year. Our annual Community Learn To Ski days do just that. We bring our team members together to help children from our community learn the basic skills of skiing and the safety aspects of the sport. Using our boats equipped with training equipment, the children learn how to ski in a very controlled environment with very little frustration.
The Shawano Ski Sharks are bringing waterskiing for those with disabilities, who may have thought it was not possible before, through adaptive skiing. This is done through our Believe and Ski Program.

Shawano Ski Sharks is a fiscally responsible, non-profit water ski club that presents free, weekly ski shows in a family-focused environment. All Ski Shark members, skiers and non-skiers alike, work together to increase skills, develop creative shows, build showmanship, and hone leadership abilities to create the best water ski show in northeast Wisconsin
